Happy December friends! It’s crazy that we’re in the last month of the year, but I’m really excited for the holiday season. This is mainly because, I’ll be spending a whole week in Pittsburgh with my family for Christmas. I also think I’m going to try and take a little break from work (blog included), but we’ll see how that goes.
I wasn’t able to go home for Thanksgiving, but did take a quick trip to Pittsburgh for my sister’s gender reveal party. This was definitely the biggest highlight of my November. We were all so excited when we found out that she’s having a boy. My my family is pretty dominated by females, so it will be amazing to have a little boy around.
I wanted to make sure I got a snap of the four of us to share in this post. It only took about 30 times to get one picture that we all approved of. Whenever I count my blessings, having three sisters is always, always included. I would be so lost without these three.
Since I was in Raleigh for the Thanksgiving holiday, I cooked Joe and I a little feast. I absolutely love to cook so I was pretty up for the task. Unfortunately, for Joe, I’m a vegetarian so didn’t make turkey, but he seemed pretty content with my stuffed shells. For the record, I did tell him he could BYOT, if desired.
Later that weekend, he and I went and got ourselves a little Christmas tree. I haven’t had one since I moved to Raleigh, so this was beyond exciting for me. I must have told him 100 times how happy our tree makes me. I bought us these cute little ornaments and of course, Cleo got one too. (you can shop our ornaments here and here).
Other than my trip home and Thanksgiving, blogging has kept me very busy. In my last post, I shared my visit to 21c Durham with my friend Danielle. We had the best time and if you’re local, I highly encourage you to check it out! This month, I also kicked off my, “30 Days of Giveaways.” If you are just hearing of this now, be sure to check out the details in my post here. Danielle and I are currently co-hosting a giveaway, which you can enter in my latest post.
Well, that about wraps up my November. Luckily, it wasn’t as crazy as last month and I was actually able to relax quite a bit. I’m currently welcoming December and the Christmas holiday with very open arms!
