Hello my friends! I’m back from a mini-hiatus and very much ready to start sharing some of my favorite Fall Transitional outfits (there’s more where this one came from, yay!). I’ve had a pretty busy couple of weeks, with a trip to Charleston and new gig writing for Forever Bridal‘s blog. I went to Charleston over Labor Day Weekend for my friend’s bachelorette party, which was pretty awesome. My favorite part of the trip was the boat we chartered to show us the sites. During the tour, we saw so many dolphins, which was honestly a dream come true. Coincidentally, my first assignment for Forever Bridal was to write about the best bachelorette party ideas in Raleigh, so I felt pretty inspired after our trip. I do, however, wish a boat tour with dolphins was a reality in Raleigh, because if so, I’d have to change my day job to boat Captain, for sure.
While getting back into the swing of blogging for CF, I started to think of the Fall trends I wanted to style and share in upcoming posts. I’ve been loving a lot of the more androgynous pieces, such as mule loafers (these have been on repeat since buying) and loose fitting bottoms. I became obsessed with these striped chinos as soon as I saw them online at The Gap. My goal this Fall is to add more pants to my wardrobe to diversify it beyond jeans (which are always my go-to) and the these were a great addition. They’re super comfy (I recommend sizing down) and are perfect for work or weekend. What are some Fall trends you are loving this year?
To one of my favorite Raleigh fashionistas, Lauren – thank you for sharing your impeccable style and gorgeous smile with us all. May your soul be at peace and with God.
