It’s common knowledge that the most imperative closet staple for any woman is that one, perfect Little Black Dress. A dress so diverse, it can be styled and worn for almost any formal or semi-formal occassion (or as a Holly Golightly costume as I am guilty of doing).
Spring is typically a time of bright colors and floral prints, however, I have been on quite the restyling kick (see Spring Dresses on Repeat Part 1 & Part 2), which inspired me to create a great Spring look using this Classic. Also, I’m sure your LBD will come in handy since the Wedding Season is among us.
I have been in love with this Tobi number since purchasing it last fall. I prefer a lace LBD, with the belief that it gives the dress a more romantic feel, which will prove to be quite appropriate in most occasions (like a wedding or bridal shower or another wedding). To add some Spring into this ensemble, I accented the look with pops of mint, my favorite Spring color to wear.
Now I just need to decide if I want to wear this look for my sister’s Bachelorette Party or Rehearsal dinner. Unless I have a hot date before then…kidding, probably for the Bachelorette Party (I’ll keep ya posted)!

PS – In case you were curious about that Holly Golightly costume! Here is a pic of me and Cleo last Haloween. I was obviously more thrilled about this couple’s costume than she was!
