I will be the first to admit that I am quite untalented when it comes to simply painting my nails. Mostly because I can never sit still long enough to not mess them up. But with the current craze of Nail Art I was determined to create a simple pattern for even the most elementary of polishers (me).
I used the above four colors to create my Camo Print statement nails with the base being a taupe color (second from the left). Using a toothpick, I applied the balance colors to my pointer and ring fingers, creating a horizontal shape with each. The best part was, the more imperfect the shape of the color, the more it resemebled a camo print. I’m thinking…not too shabby for my first attempt!
PS—My secrets for fast drying nails: Either spraying them with a cooking spray or swiftly running them under water (shaking hands to dry). Oh, and I’m totally open to more easy Nail Art ideas…or fast drying secrets (I can never have enough).
